FA Athletics Values

Foundation Academy Athletics, rooted in Christian values, offer a wide range of opportunities for students to excel in their chosen sports, while also nurturing their faith and instilling valuable life skills.

At Foundation Academy, student-athletes are pushed to develop what is referred to as The Heart of a Lion—a bold heart that confronts adversity with strength, dignity, and wisdom, loyally protecting others and facing fear when others will not.

Explore Our Facilities

Foundation Academy features top athletic facilities, including the Leiferman Family Gymnasium, Lion Field, and Kelly Family Athletic Annex with a strength center. The campus has softball and baseball fields, a beach volleyball court, and a practice field. The gym supports basketball and volleyball, while Lion Field is used for football, soccer, and lacrosse.

Explore Our Facilities

Foundation Academy boasts a range of athletic facilities, including the Leiferman Family Gymnasium, Lion Field, and the Kelly Family Athletic Annex with the Lumpkins Family Strength and Conditioning Center. Facilities include two softball fields, a baseball field, a beach volleyball court, and a practice field. The gymnasium accommodates volleyball and basketball games, and practice for multiple courts, while Lion Field is used for football, soccer, and lacrosse. A multipurpose softball field also supports middle school baseball. The school is planning further expansion of these facilities as its athletic programs grow.

Supporting Our Athletes

Our goal is to instill The Heart of a Lion into each student-athlete. The Lions Athletic Booster Club membership provides our Athletic Department with additional financial resources to train our athletes, support our coaches, and cultivate a healthy competitive atmosphere that leads to growth and winning programs.

A Letter From Our
Athletic Director

Welcome to Foundation Academy Athletics, home of the Lions! We sponsor 16 sports and 45 interscholastic competitive teams for our student athletes. Foundation Academy Athletics has had a rich tradition of success on the athletic fields and in the classroom.

Foundation Academy partners with families and the church to build a firm foundation for life through Christ-centered education. Athletics at FA is an extension of this mission. We aim to honor God by discipling young people through athletics, to foster each athletes’ personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to produce disciplined, Christ honoring teams that strive for excellence at all levels. Our athletic administration, staff, and coaches are committed to providing a challenging and cohesive environment where our student-athletes can reach their academic and athletic potential in a Christ-like manner.

The championship banners that are displayed in the Leiferman Family Gymnasium on the Tilden campus represent the hard work and dedication our athletes have put into their sport during their time at Foundation. Our athletic program has played a vital role in the development of our students in their pursuit of success long after their playing careers have ended.
